Over the years, The Ames Foundation has been involved in numerous additional projects. A partial list includes:

• Welcome to Ames Sign and Time Capsule
• Veterans Memorial
• Dog Park
• Crescendo
• Bandshell Park
• General landscaping in Ames parks
• Providing accessible drinking fountains in city parks
• Funding new location signs in the city cemetery
• Support for the Southeast Ames Entryway project
• Assistance in the acquisition of the Ann Munn Heritage Woods
• Support for the relocation of Ames’ first school, Hoggatt School, from private property to the Meeker Elementary School grounds
